The United States government, through the United States Agency for International development, Southern and Eastern Caribbean (USAID/ESC) together with the organization of Eastern Caribbean states (OECS) and UNISEF, a second report was launched on Covid -19 vaccine hesitancy for Dominica, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent, Grenade, Antigua and Barbuda and Grenadines which are Eastern Caribbean countries.

          This second study is a discussion of the previous study which was conducted in 2021. The 2022 study was mainly conducted to track the issue of the hesitancy of Covid-19 vaccine, the force is enhancing the strategies design to enhance vaccine update.

                According to the 2021 study tried to understand the publics perception on Covid -19 and other vaccines. The 2022 study Sought to understand if there is an interest in continuing the Covid-19 Vaccine and if the border vaccination environment had impacted attitudes for other diseases towards immunization.

                 The Eastern Caribbean Linda Taglialatela and US ambassador to Barbados noted that the survey will result to provide an understanding to the main barriers which will prevent the region from reaching our goals of 70% vaccination coverage and inform where we need to increase our efforts.
