The What, The Why, The Who & The How

Who is WFEB?

The World Forum for Ethics in Business (WFEB) is a registered public interest foundation (“fondation d’utilité publique” – N° 822.216.342) based in Belgium

The Forum holds a special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations

Why was it founded ?

To provide a platform for the promotion of ethical approaches to both public and private sector governance

To facilitate global dialogue and promote cooperation among the private sector, the academic world, government agencies, international organisations, the media, sports organisations, spiritual and secular communities to

  • Increase global awareness of ethics In business
  • Facilitate sharing of global best practices
  • Enable and support leaders to act ethically
  • Forge coalitions for collective action

What (and how) does it do?

  • Brings all of the above stakeholders together to cater to the current priorities of global citizens. Which is why the Forum is hosting a global virtual conference on world health day 7th April 2021, to inform and empower people to get the right information to improve health, happiness and trust at an individual and a global level.
  • WFEB’s events raise awareness on the critical link between business and human values
  • It awards and recognises individuals and organisations for their exemplary work and service
  • It raises funds to support its mission and activities
