London, United Kingdom (CU)_ Britain stated that it will provide fresh vaccines to thousands of individuals who agreed to participate in trials of the Novavax coronavirus vaccine, which has not been authorized for use in any country yet. In the United Kingdom, approximately 15,000 individuals received Novavax injections as part of a clinical trial. While the United Kingdom acknowledges them as vaccinated, most nations do not consider them as vaccinated, which means they are unable to travel.

According to the health department of the United Kingdom, over 15,000 volunteers will receive two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine. The government has announced that it intends to widen the offer to around 6,000 UK volunteers in testing of other vaccinations that have not yet been authorized for use. Britain has requested other members of the Group of 20 countries to designate clinical trial participants as vaccinated, but the majority have refused.
