Cryptocurrency exchange to reward Indian Olympians

The account with be structured for a period of 3 – 5 years, which would offer them a seamless exposure to the most popular and highly valued digital currencies, while also earning a fixed source of income in the long term. The athletes will be able to access their accounts by merely completing the platform’s KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements.  

“Bitcoins and Ethereum have been the best-performing assets in the last decade, and have given exceptional returns and we aim to get our winners indulge in this rewarding journey,” Bitbns’s chief executive Gaurav Dahake said.

Up until earlier this year, digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum were known to be richly rewarding for investors as they generated high returns. However, these cryptocurrencies were unable to maintain their record highs amid regulatory crackdown by China and widespread scepticism among authorities in many countries. Accordingly, in April they saw their value decline by up to 50 per cent.
