Guru, a film partly based on the life of business magnate Dhirubhai Ambani, was released in 2007. The film features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, R Madhavan, and Roshan Seth, and was directed by Mani Ratnam. Abhishek played Dhirubhai Ambani’s part in the film, while Aishwarya played his wife, Kokilaben Ambani. Similar to Dhirubhai Ambani and his wife, Kokilaben, who constantly supported her husband in his path to become the wealthiest man, Aishwarya’s role was a rock of strength for Abhishek’s character throughout his struggles in the film.

Ashutosh Gowariker produced and directed the film Jodhaa Akbar, which was released in 2008. The film features Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Sonu Sood and recreates the sixteenth century Mughal era. Jodhaa Akbar follows the sixteenth-century love affair between Mughal Emperor Akbar and a Rajput princess named Jodhaa. Shershaah was released in 2021 and is based on the life of Captain Vikram Batra, portrayed by Sidharth Malhotra, who died in the Kargil battle. The film is a homage to the courageous souls who risked their lives to defend the nation’s pride in the most difficult battle ever. The movie follows Vikram Batra’s life from his boyhood days to his falling in love with Dimple Cheema and eventually laying down his life for the nation. Sidharth and Kiara have given outstanding performances, with her portraying a steadfast Sardarni who is head over heels in love. Vikram married Dimple in secret in a gurdwara without her knowledge. He also put his own blood into her maang and called her Mrs Batra.

M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story

The 2016 biographical sports film M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story features Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, and Anupam Kher and is directed by Neeraj Pandey. The film follows the life of M.S. Dhoni, the former Indian National Cricket Team captain, and his rise to prominence in cricket. M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story is a tribute to Dhoni’s fans, friends, and family members who stuck by his side through his triumphs and failures. Dhoni’s personal life was disclosed in the film, including a sad tragedy that shattered him. The beautiful love between M.S.Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni and his love for former girlfriend Priyanka Jha are depicted wonderfully in the film.
