Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has worked with popular Khans of Bollywood. She co-starred with Salman Khan in the 2007 film Salaam-E-Ishq and with Shah Rukh Khan in the films Om Shanti Om and Heyy Babyy.  In her forthcoming film Sherni, Vidya Balan plays a forest officer character, whose new mission is to track down a grieving tigress that has been tormenting the residents.

The actress, who is expecting the release of her latest film Sherni, spared some time from her busy schedule to host a ‘Ask me anything’ session on Instagram, where she answered amazing queries raised by her fans. When a fan asked Vidya Balan to choose between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, she responded by posting a photo of herself and Siddharth Roy Kapur with the caption “My SRK” and a red heart icon. Vidya Balan does not have to pick between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan because she has her own “SRK”, who is her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the founder and managing director of the production company Roy Kapur Films, tied the knot in 2012. Earlier, Siddharth had married Aarti Bajaj, a childhood friend, and TV producer Kavita. Siddharth also serves as the President of Producers Guild of India. His brothers Aditya and Kunaal are also involved in acting.

In terms of work, Vidya Balan’s acting debut was Hum Paanch, a 1995 sitcom. Goutam Halder’s Bengali film Bhalo Theko, released in 2003, was her first entry into the industry. Parineeta, her debut Hindi film, was released in 2005. Her roles in films such as Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Guru, Paa, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, The Dirty Picture, Kahaani, and Hamari Adhuri Kahani have earned her acclaim. The 2020 film Shakuntala Devi was her last project.
