Two brand new official pictures have been released from the Coronation of King Charles with one showing Their Majesties alongside their pages of honour and ladies in attendance. They were the trusted family and friends of the newly crowned King and Queen who helped their Coronation day go smoothly.
A brand new official picture shows King Charles and Queen Camilla proudly standing alongside their ladies in attendance and pages of honour to mark their big day.
This charming photograph was taken in the throne room of Buckingham Palace by Hugh Burnard immediately after their appearance on the place balcony. The King looks regal in his Robe of Estate and Imperial State Crown while the Queen is photographed wearing Queen Mary’s Crown and Robe of Estate with the couple surrounded by their attendants.
They are, from left, Ralph Tollemache, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Nicholas Barclay, Prince George, the Marchioness of Lansdowne, King Charles III, Queen Camilla, the Queen’s sister Annabel Elliott, the Queen’s grandson Freddy Parker Bowles, the Queen’s great-nephew Arthur Elliot, and the Queen’s grandsons Gus Lopes and Louis Lopes. A second photograph was also released which shows King Charles with his two heirs, Prince William and Prince George.
Ralph Tollemache is the son of one of King Charles’ godchildren and is the first of the King’s pages of honour. Lord Oliver Cholmondeley aged 13 is the son of the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley and Rose Hanbury his wife and former model. Prince George, at just nine years old, is the youngest of the King’s pages and the most well-known. Nicholas Barclay is 13 years old and is the fourth of the King’s pages, the son of his goddaughter Rose Troughton and Piers Barclay, her husband.
Directly to the left of the King is the Marchioness of Lansdowne, one of Queen Camilla’s attendants who is known to be one of her closest friends. Fiona is an interior designer, the deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire and godmother to Laura, Camilla’s daughter. Annabel Elliot stands to the right of Queen Camilla and is her younger sister and another of her attendants. Annabel is an antiques expert and an interior designer.
Freddy Parker Bowles aged 13, is standing on the other side of Annabel and is the first of Queen Camilla’s pages of honour, the grandson. He is the younger son of Tom and his former wife Sara. Arthur Elliot aged 13 is the second of Queen Camilla’s pages and is the grandson of Annabel. Gus and Louis Lopes’ 13-year-old twins, are featured in the far right of the photograph and are Queen Camilla’s two other grandsons and pages of honour. They are the younger sons of Laura, Queen Camilla’s daughter and her husband Harry.
