Mobile and electronics manufacturers seek rollback of duty hikes

NEW DELHI (CU)_In its 2021-22 budget, the government of India increased import duties on inputs for chargers, camera modules, power banks and printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). This week, mobile and electronic manufacturers sought rollback of these duty hikes, which they say will be detrimental to the country’s manufacturing sector.
