GLOBAL – There are so many tv shows and movies that are about plane crashes in 100 different ways. But this can never actually prepare someone for it actually happening.

It cannot be an easy message to receive that a plane crash may have ended the life of a loved one. But it was the case for two families when a plane bound for the Red Wing Regional Airport crashed earlier this week in the afternoon just across the Mississippi River in western Wisconsin, killing two people onboard.

This is what nightmares are made of as you don’t board an aircraft thinking this is it this is the day this plane will go down. Yes, you may pray or become spiritual but there is a sense of trust you place in the universe that you will come out of this alive.

The universe played a trick when this pane went down around 1.40 pm in a field close to Highway 35 in Bay city. The city is just across the river from Red Wing airport. Which ironically was the airport that the plane was headed for to land.

The 2012 Glasair Super II SFT aircraft departed from Rochester airport in southeast Minnesota on a training flight at 12:20 p.m.

The two victims have not yet been identified as the FAA is still conducting a biopsy to identify the victims. There still hasn’t been a statement released either regarding what caused the crash. Since it was a training flight there are speculations being made but nothing really confirmed.

The media is pressing the matter to end speculation and for an update. One can only wait and see what the cause for the crash is and maybe find some peace with that.
