Actress Kajol posted an old photo with her late father, Shomu Mukherjee. In the photo, he is seen hugging her with pride. She described how he supported her gaining confidence, calling her his “tigress” and urging her to express herself freely. She also stated that his birthday comes around this time, making Father’s Day even more special to her.

Director Karan Johar, who is a father to twins Yash and Roohi, commented on his experience as a single dad. He explained that, while many people provided advice and resources, he feels that every parenting experience, particularly for single parents, is unique and governed by instinct rather than rigid rules. He called the decision to become a father the most fulfilling one he has ever made.
