IBM Technology Expert Labs has expanded its professional services, and further, it has entered the Australian and European markets through the AWS Marketplace. This decision responds to Fortune 1000 companies, which face challenges in implementing AI and hybrid cloud technologies on a large scale. These challenges include concerns about data privacy, security, and skills gaps.

IBM’s growth goes beyond its initial “Advise” services on the AWS Marketplace. The new “Implement” category includes hands-on help with fixed scopes and prices. These services focus on building, configuring, migrating, tuning performance, and scaling IBM technology solutions. Previously available only in Canada, the United States, and Brazil, these services are now accessible remotely to clients in six additional countries: Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. This expansion aims to assist a range of organizations in Asia Pacific and Europe, helping them deploy faster and achieve quicker value.

A recent article by Bytefeed described findings from a 2025 AI and Data Leadership Executive Benchmark Survey. It indicated that only 5% of Fortune 1000 companies had implemented AI technology at scale in 2024. The survey predicted that by late 2025, this number could increase to between 25% and 47% for those aiming for “early-stage production.” It should be mentioned that analysts from Forrester highlighted the essential role of professional services and systems integrators in guiding organizations through these challenges. The expanded services from IBM Technology Expert Labs are set to help clients create systems that are scalable, flexible, and compliant with changing regulations.

With over 47,000 client engagements globally, IBM Technology Expert Labs draws on substantial experience to help clients implement product deployments. The consultants have deep knowledge of IBM’s software and SaaS solutions, aiding clients in designing, deploying, and expanding pilots into full production. According to Hemant Mohan, AWS Global Head of Strategic Partnerships, the expansion of IBM Technology Expert Labs’ implementation services is a notable milestone in their partnership. It should be further clarified that Mohan noted that this expansion reflects their shared commitment to equipping enterprises with the necessary tools and knowledge to innovate confidently.
