Biden-Harris inauguration: Hollywood and Bollywood stars wish the President and Vice President

Mumbai, India (CU)_ After the presidential inauguration at Washington DC, Bollywood and Hollywood stars took to social media to express their happiness and wishes to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the duo officially entered the White House today as President and Vice President, respectively.

Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities considered it a proud moment when the keys to the White House were formally handed over to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Wednesday. Biden and Harris took oaths as the President and the Vice President of the United States at the inauguration function.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram and posted a photo of Kamala Harris and wrote alongside, “The Future Is Female.”

Singer Nick Jonas, Priyanka’s husband, also posted an image of Kamala and Joe cheering each other at the ceremony. He wrote, “We look ahead in our uniquely American way. Restless, bold, optimistic. And set our sights on the nation we know we can be and must be. Let’s go @joebiden and @kamalaharris”.

Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen also took to Instagram to share some pictures of Biden and Harris. On posting the picture, she wrote a congratulatory note: “Congratulations UNITED States of America!! Making History on so many levels, Respect Madam Vice President @kamalaharris Its beyond empowering!!! The world needs a strong sense of inclusion & hope Mr. President @joebiden Here’s praying we all find strength in each other…beyond geography!! Actor Swara Bhasker wrote a simple note saying, “United States Of America, you did good!”

Actress Dia Mirza took to Twitter and shared pictures and poet Amanda Gorman’s enchanting poem from the ceremony. She wrote, “’When day comes, we step out of the shade aflame and unafraid.
