Mumbai, India (CU)_ As the news got out, Alia’s fans wished her well in social media and the actress thanked her fans for their concerns. She wrote, “Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care.” Alia Bhatt is currently working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai.

Last night, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt disclosed in an Instagram story that she had tested positive for COVID-19. The 28-year-old actress shared this message in her Instagram handle yesterday. She wrote, “Hello all, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors.”

Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for the coronavirus in early March and cured within a few weeks. Last month, Alia Bhatt’s boyfriend, actor Ranbir Kapoor, also tested positive for coronavirus. Following Ranbir’s positive test, Alia took to Instagram and disclosed that she had tested negative after a self-isolation for a few days. Alia’s post read, “I’ve been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for COVID-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today. Thank you for all your good wishes. I am taking care and staying safe. You please do the same”.

Alia Bhatt posted “Major missing” in social media and dedicated it to her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor when he was under quarantine period. COVID-19 positive celebrities include Milind Soman, R Madhavan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karik Aaryan, Rohit Saraf, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Manoj Bajpayee, and Ranvir Shorey. Meanwhile, owing to a rise in the number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra, the state has enforced a night curfew, with shopping malls closing from 8 pm to 7 am.
