Mumbai, India (CU)_ In the midst of Maharashtra’s lockdown, mom-to-be Shreya Ghoshal’s friends surprised her with a baby shower. Singer Shreya has updated her Instagram followers about her online baby shower. The singer, who is expecting her first child with her husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya, took to Instagram to share a few photos from the baby shower celebration, along with a heartfelt caption for her fans. Her post clearly demonstrates that she is being pampered by her friends.
Shreya, who is pregnant with her first child, is flashing a smile for the lens in the first picture. Shreya wore in a mommy-to-be band and was carrying a small placard which said, “Mommy to be.” There are also a number of delicious dishes placed on the table that were prepared by Shreya’s friends. The other picture showed close shot of the food served for Shreya. A screenshot of Shreya’s video call with her friends is also included in the sequence.
Shreya was impressed with the surprise ceremony and appreciated her friends for the lovely event. She penned, “When friends decide to pamper you even from a distance…Online surprise baby shower from my cutest ‘Baawris’. Everyone cooked something, or made something handmade, sent in a platter, plenty fun and games…How lucky am I! Wish the times were different and no lockdown/curfew were here…”
Shreya Ghoshal took to Instagram and happily revealed the news of her pregnancy in March this year. She wrote, “Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all. Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives (sic)”. In the year 2015, Shreya Ghoshal and her childhood friend Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya tied knots. The couple is awaiting their first child in the near future.
