NHS Grampian gets its first cutting-edge cardiac scanner

London, United Kingdom (CU)_ NHS Grampian launched its first latest cutting-edge cardiac scanner today. Patients at NHS Grampian will benefit from a new heart scanner, which is the first of its kind in Scotland. The advanced technique, called IQ SPECT CT, can take 4D images of the heart within minutes and will mostly support ischemic heart disease patients.
