Covid-19: Armenia considers extending the school break for another week

The Armenian Ministry of Health has recommended the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports to extend the school break for another week, the Ministry’s Spokesperson Hripsime Khachatryan told all public media as a press conference earlier this month.

It has also proposed to shift to distance learning at higher educational establishments. This announcement was made as the government was considering the risk of having children back in class rooms close to each other as well it being a reason for the pandemic to spread.
