As Tobago enters its third major elections during the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a familiar backdrop—rising COVID-19 cases. During the 2020 General Elections, the country was mainly plagued by the original strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes the COVID-19 disease.
