Mumbai, India (CU)_ While Hollywood frequently gets the superhero genre right, the Bollywood film industry lags far behind. Hollywood is popular for superhero movies. The movies like Superman, Ironman, Spiderman, Batman, Antman, etc, are some of the blockbuster hits. Khatron Ke Khiladi
Dharmendra portrayed Teesri Adalat, a vigilante Batman. The film was released in 1988 and also starred Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Chunky Panday, and Neelam. In the film, he even rides a Batmobile-style four-wheeler, much like Batman. The picture was a box office hit.
