Plans to make electronics India’s third largest exports category

NEW DELHI (CU)_ The government of India, in a recent report, laid out plans to expand the country’s electronic production. Currently, electrical machinery and equipment are the sixth largest export category of the South Asian nation. According to the report, which was prepared by industry experts, together with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Delhi is looking to boost production in the sector, with the aim of making it the country’s third largest exports category.
