Hyderabad, India (CU)_ Popular Telugu actor Mahesh Babu is the son of Telugu actor Krishna. He began his career as a child actor in the 1989 film Poratam, starring his father. Further, he acted in some of his father’s films such as Sankharavam and Bazaar Rowdy. Mahesh Babu’s silver screen debut was with Preity Zinta in the 1999 film Raja Kumarudu.
Recent comments made by superstar Mahesh Babu during the trailer launch of Adivi Sesh’s film Major are creating buzz in the film industries. According to media outlets, the actor, who has been asked several times about his intentions to feature in Bollywood films, claimed during the interaction that “Bollywood cannot afford me”.
The media sites present during the launch reported Mahesh Babu as saying, “I did get a lot of offers in Hindi but I don’t think they can afford me. I don’t want to waste my time working in an industry which can’t afford me. The stardom and the respect I get here is huge, so I never really thought of leaving my industry and going to some other industry.”
The 46-year-old actor shared about his future goals. He added, “I have always thought of doing films and becoming bigger. My dream is coming true now and I can’t be happier.” A few of his best performances include Athadu, Pokiri, Athidhi, Dookudu, SPYder, Bharat Ane Nenu, and Maharshi. His most recent appearance was in Sarileru Neekevvaru. His forthcoming endeavor is titled Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Additionally, he is also working on another project named Major.
