London, United Kingdom (CU)_ Due to the modern lifestyle, excessive screen time, sleepless nights, and stress, a growing number of individuals experience dark circles, swollen eyes, hollowness, eye bags, and eye wrinkles. To solve these concerns, ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, one of the top pharmaceutical firms in India, teamed up with the UK’s NuSkin London cosmetic research laboratory and created a nanotechnology-based under eye gel serum.

According to the pharmaceutical firm, the Eyecirque eye serum is based on a novel plant-based biocellular formula combining a vitamin A+ C+ E complex, anti-aging antioxidants, skin brightening ingredients, and natural ultra-moisturizing components. The gel is described as being ultra-light, relaxing, cooling, non-sticky, non-irritating, and readily absorbed by the skin around the eyes.

Nikkhil K Masurkar, Executive Director at ENTOD Pharmaceuticals, said, “The sensitive area underneath our eyes definitely needs some extra attention and care. Sleepless nights, stress and much more can lead to eye bags, dark circles and more, particularly highlighting that targeted area”. He stated that the under-eye gel serum they have formulated is the first nanotechnology-based under-eye gel serum in the world that is created using scientifically approved natural substances such as Retinol, Glutathione, Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Aquaxyl, and Ginseng, which have been rigorously tested for their safety on the skin around the eyes.

According to him, results can be observed after a few weeks of use. However, he stated that a minimum six weeks of treatment are required to notice the substantial changes and to continuously improve the skin around the eyes. The serum is created in globally authorized, advanced skin research facilities to suit all types of skin.

Anjula Masurkar, Clinical Director at ENTOD International Group, explained the technology. She said, “Through nanotechnology, ingredients have undergone an advanced particle size reduction process to give particle sizes of less than 50 nanometres. Such extremely small potent nanoparticles are absorbed almost 20 times better and faster into the skin providing deeper skin penetration. This allows for greater spread across the target skin site and significantly improved bioavailability leading to quicker and more prominent results.”

Anjula noted that following extensive dermatological and ophthalmological testing, their team devised this technique specifically for the sensitive skin around the eyes. In addition, the firm says that the product is animal cruelty-free and devoid of parabens, silicones, sulphates, phthalates, mineral oils, or other harmful ingredients.
