Ranveer Singh trolled by the netizens for promoting this south film!

Mumbai, India (CU)_ Top Bollywood star Ranveer Singh was recently trolled by  netizens when he expressed his wishes for a South Indian film. The actor promoted and shared the Hindi trailer of Kamal Haasan’s next action film, Vikram, via his Twitter account. His post lauded the talented director Lokesh, actor Kamal, and the viral trailer.

Ranveer Singh took to Twitter and lauded Kamal’s latest Tamil film Vikram. He wrote, “Cheers to my talented friend Lokesh @Dir_Lokesh and the Legend of Indian Cinema @ikamalhaasan! This trailer is fire”. While supporters of Kamal Haasan appreciated him for his promotion, some Twitter users cruelly mocked him by claiming that he had no time to promote his own industry films.

As soon as his message went viral, the internet started attacking the actor. One person commented, “You have time to promote other industry films but u don’t have time to promote your industry film #dhaakad.” Another remarked, “Udhar inki lanka bollywood jali padi hai tollywood ko promote karne chale aye.”

Some of the netizens went on to say that Bollywood is now pretending to be pals with the South industry. One person commented, “Now suddenly bollywood is finding friends in South. Paisa kamaaana hai patli awaaz ko.”

The Tamil action movie ‘Vikram,’ starring Kamal Haasan, has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film also has Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit screens on June 3, 2022. In terms of work, Ranveer’s most recent film appearance was in Divyang Thakkar’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
