INDIA (Commonwealth Union) – At some point or another we have all been students of higher education. Therefore, to say that we have all a part to play in most educational institution extending dates for fee payments is very much the truth.
Now the Delhi University appears to be doing the same as students have made mistakes on the dates and not made the fee payment for their education forcing the university to push the dates back so that everyone can make the needed payments.
This is not the first time this has happened and it definitely won’t be the last. However, the administration did say that they do get some very clever excuses as to why the fee payment was delayed. The university accounts have made it easier for the students now by making a payment gateway online so that the students can make the fee payment online and have a reference number sent.
Doing all of this, student still managed to miss the date. So now the date has been moved and students will be getting daily reminders via the website to make payments. Thus far the university says in humor that students have been diligent to the reminder and have made payment. When asked if the university found this added work, they sated in the negative claiming that with the course work it’s easy for them to forget to make payment.
For the freshers the university sends a detailed document as to how they can make an account and how they can make payment. The reminders of payment are not optional. The students who have defaulted payment will receive these reminders until the payment has been made.
The students however are not angry that they get these reminders. They are very grateful that the university has put their educational needs ahead and send them reminders as opposed to not doing anything and saying they cannot sit exams and such for unpaid fees.
