AFRICA (Commonwealth Union) _ Several African nations are putting a lot of effort into boosting inbound travel. Potential outside investors are drawn to the tourist sector by these African nations. Mozambique has begun granting visa exemptions for travel and business to 28 nations, the latest in the southern African area.

The exception, which was authorized by the Council of Ministers in mid-March, is available to travelers with regular passports and allows for a 30-day stay that can be extended for an additional 60 days.

In that it requires tourists to register on a platform for pre-screening at least 48 hours before going and to pay a processing charge of MZN-650 (equal to £8.50), the Mozambique government’s methodology is comparable to the United States visa waiver program.

Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast, Japan, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States are among the nations whose names have been approved for the list.

The visa waiver is a follow-up to the platform’s launch in December of last year, which enabled potential visitors to request an electronic pre-authorization to enter the country. Compared to the same time last year, the number of travelers entering the nation has increased by over 30% since the introduction of e-visas.

The e-visa portal guarantees that the country would answer to applications within 5 days, but according to general feedback, responses typically take 24 hours. The rare problems that have been reported are typically caused by users who fail to upload the necessary papers. The eVisa site guarantees that the government will respond to applications within 5 days, but according to general feedback, responses typically take 24 hours. The rare problems that have been observed are typically caused by individuals who fail to upload the necessary evidence.
