Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Nysa Devgan, the daughter of Bollywood actors Kajol and Ajay Devgn, turned 20 this year, and celebrated her 20th birthday with her family. On the special day, her parents took to social media to express their love and wishes for their beloved daughter. Kajol posted a cute picture of herself with Nysa and praised her sense of humor, mind, and heart. She wished her daughter to always smile, laugh, and snark with her forever.
Kajol wrote, “This is us and our story always. Love your sense of humor and your mind and your oh so very sweet heart…Love you to bits baby girl and may you always smile laugh and snark with me forever.” Further, she added the hashtags #daughtersrock, #mybabygirl, #happy20th and #allgrownupnow to her post. Ajay Devgn, on the other hand, shared a father-daughter picture collage and called himself the father of his pride. He wrote, “Father of My Pride. Happy birthday baby.”
Bollywood’s popular couple Kajol and Ajay Devgn met while filming Hulchul, and got married in 1999. The couple are parents to daughter Nysa who was born in 2003, and son Yug born in 2010. The duo has collaborated on several films, including Gundaraj, Ishq, Dil Kya Kare, Raju Chacha, and Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha. Their last project together was the 2020 period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, starring Saif Ali Khan.
During a recent media interview, Kajol expressed pride in her daughter’s conduct and popularity, saying that Nysa is disciplined, and has the right to do whatever she wants to do, which her parents will always support. She said, “I feel proud of her, of course. I love the fact that she conducts herself with dignity wherever she goes. All I can say is, she is 19 and is having fun. She has the right to do whatever she wants to do and I will always support her.”
