Brunei (Commonwealth Union)_ In a collaborative effort between the United States Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD), the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports, and the Ministry of Education, a workshop was organized in Brunei under the US Sports Envoy Programme, specifically focusing on women and girls in the Belait District. The workshop was conducted at the Brunei Shell Recreation Club (BSRC) and attracted more than 50 participants, including coaches of various football teams.

The workshop was led by Amy Allman Griffin and Lorrie Fair Allen, distinguished American football players who were FIFA World Cup Champions in 1991 and 1999. As US State Department Sports Envoys, they shared their expertise and experiences with the attendees. The workshop included various activities and began with an inspirational speech where strategies for coaches to support young players were discussed.
