There will always be a time when an athlete will have no option but to stop continuing the wave that they are on, only because they are multiple complication and they cannot go forward. This is exactly what happed to the young Brit Emma Raducanu at the Wimbledon. 

Her glorious performance run came to a staggering and sad ending in the fourth round as she was forced to withdraw as she was dealing with a breathing difficulty. This breathing difficulty began occurring during her second set against Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic.
