Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif turned 39 this year. This is her memorable birthday as it would be her first after marrying Vicky Kaushal. The newlyweds, who married on December 9, 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, have arrived in Maldives with friends to celebrate Katrina’s birthday.
Vicky and Katrina were photographed together at the Mumbai airport on Thursday. Sunny Kaushal, his rumored girlfriend Sharvari Wagh, Kabir Khan, and Mini Mathur were also photographed with the duo. They were all dressed in casual attire. Katrina wore a vibrant orange hoodie with comfortable denims to the airport, while Vicky wore a black t-shirt with an olive green shirt and gray jeans. Sharvari looked really fashionable in a white bralette, cropped denim jacket, and black parallel trousers.
In terms of work, Katrina is co-starring with Vijay Sethupathi in the upcoming film Merry Christmas which will be directed by Sriram Raghavan. In the meantime, she is also busy with Tiger 3 alongside Salman Khan.
In terms of work, Vicky has a number of projects in line. He is now rehearsing for Meghna Gulzar’s highly awaited biopic on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Sam Bahadur. During the 1971 India-Pakistan War, Manekshaw was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army and the first Indian Army commander to be appointed to the rank of field marshal. Vicky’s costars in the film are Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. In addition, Vicky is also co-starring with Sara Ali Khan in Laxman Utekar’s untitled feature film. He also has the film Govinda Naam Mera alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
Speaking about the movie, Vicky said, “I had always heard stories about Sam Bahadur from my parents who hail from Punjab and have seen the 1971 war but when I read the script I was completely blown away. He is a hero and patriot who is still remembered and loved to this day and capturing his spirit in the film is of the highest importance to me”.
