Mumbai, India (CU)_ A new device has been invented by the KEM Hospital to manage blood flow in such a way that makes a person lose weight. KEM Hospital in Parel, one of the most famous medical institutions in the country, recently received a patent from the US Patent Office for their innovative work in weight loss treatment. An interventional radiologist, Dean Dr. Hemant Deshmukh, came up with the gadget while repairing narrowed blood vessels surrounding the small intestine.
