Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has achieved a major milestone in his career. Accordingly, the distinguished actor successfully completed 33 years in the film industry. In a rare personal message, the actor expressed tremendous emotion and thanked everyone for supporting his journey. He also recalled the struggles he encountered, the support he got, and the passions that continue to drive him. Ajith made his film debut in the 1990s with a minor role in En Veedu En Kanavar. In 1993, he played the lead in Amaravathi, and that’s when his career took off. Since then, he has been ruling the Tamil industry with his blockbuster movies and durable characters and has established himself as one of the most recognized actors of Indian cinema. He is also a multitalented individual with successful careers in racing, biking, and mechanical engineering, who is noted for his passion and devotion to his profession.

In a heartfelt message to his fans, Ajith shared his past stories on how he entered the film industry without any background support, trusting completely in his confidence, skills, and hard work. He said, “I came into this industry without any support or recommendation. With my hard work, and my hard work only, did I enter this industry.” He made it clear that what matters to him isn’t just the number of years, but the effort and growth that came with each of them. He extended his sincere thanks to everyone who played a role in his journey, including directors, producers, co-actors, technicians, journalists, theater owners, and distribution partners. He also acknowledged the Tamil Nadu government, political leaders, and the police for their support throughout his career.

Ajith thanked his family, especially his wife, Shalini, their children, and his parents, for being his constant support. He also expressed his gratitude to the Government of India for awarding him the Padma Bhushan this year. He personally thanked President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the national honor. Additionally, Ajith’s wife, Shalini, joined in the celebration by posting a selfie with him on Instagram. In her caption, she wrote, “You haven’t just built a career… you’ve carried people, changed lives, and done it all with grace. I’m so proud of you. Happy 33 years!” The photo and message quickly struck a chord with fans, highlighting the deep bond the couple shares.

Apart from his work in films, Ajith is also known for his passion for racing. Earlier this year, he officially launched his own team, Ajith Kumar Racing. Reflecting on his motorsport journey, he wrote, “I didn’t enter racing just for the sport. I took it up despite age limits, fear, and setbacks, to prove something to those who doubted me.” He described the racetrack as demanding and relentless, adding, “It has thrown me off many times, but I’m still here, still racing.” Concluding his note, he addressed his fans directly: “There have been many times I’ve chosen to stay silent or remain out of the spotlight. But my focus remains cinema and racing, to entertain and make you proud. Thank you for accepting me as I am for 33 years.” Even after 30 years of a successful career, Ajith Kumar still continues to inspire many with his self-confidence, humility, passion, and unwavering commitment to his profession.
