Mumbai, India (CU)_ Agastya Nanda, veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, is ready to make his mega Bollywood debut with The Archies, which is a Hindi version of the renowned comic book series. Following Zoya Akhtar’s Instagram update on the project, Amitabh Bachchan reacted to a fan’s tweet saying, “Agastya… a new chapter begins in your life and there cannot be greater joy among us all … my blessings, my love and my wishes ever … do well…And keep the flag flying.”
However, Amitabh Bachchan removed the tweet from his page a few hours later. Agastya is the son of Shweta Bachchan Nanda, a novelist, and Nikhil Nanda, a business magnate. According to reports, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor also star in the film.
In November 2021, Zoya Akhtar disclosed her involvement with the project via an Instagram post.
