GLOBAL (COMMONWEALTH UNION) – The one thing that is unique about a person apart from who they are as person is their finger print. You will never find two people with the same finger print anywhere else on earth. Even if you were to find somebody the chances of that would be slim to a nothing and it would very rare occurrence.
These swirls you find on your finger tips are yours and yours only the same goes for your toes. But the point of discussion would be finger prints so let’s leave our feet out of it. Science for a long time has been trying to figure out these swirly pattern and even with the upgrade of technology it seems like a long call.
There have been hundreds and thousands of experiments conducted millions of house worth of work and research done in the last decade but yet there have not come to the exact mechanism of how the finger prints work when it comes to humans and why each print is different and unique to the next.
The beauty of this is that the finger prints start forming whiles one is still a fetus. At 13 weeks of a fetus life the pads of the finger tips begin to form which means that you are unique from that point in life. And from just 13 weeks to the end of your life those prints will get through just about any kind of wear and tear and still look like they have not done a day’s work.
There has been the argument of twins. What if the two that have been formed from the same egg and sperm. Should they not have some kind of similarity when it comes to their finger print. After a similarity numerous amounts of test were conducted, we come to the conclusion that no. they are nowhere close to being similar.
by some chance finger tips are similar with twins the maths confirmed by the experiments state that it would be about a 1 in 64 billion chance that its even close to being similar. The chances are very low and rare. So technically they aren’t really identical twins.
You have to also take into account the fact that twins also have different gnomes which are slightly different and this is because of the fingerprints. Its amazing to think that such a small part of your skin could be the one reason that you and only have that characteristic.
The human body has always been fascinating for science as time goes on the human body changes and evolves with it. But this has been the same since the beginning of time and human came about to be. The finger print was the one thing that stayed the same by being unique to each and every person.
It can safely be said that even if the world changed and technology was able to find every answer to every question ever asked, they would never be able to answer the question as to why the swirls on our fingers are unique.
