Bangladesh to become Smart Bangladesh by 2041!

Bangladesh (Commonwealth Union)_ According to Md Shahab Uddin, Environment, Forestry, and Climate Change Minister, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh will emerge as a developed, rich, and smart nation by 2041. He stated, “There is no alternative but to keep Sheikh Hasina in power to maintain the continuity of development. If Sheikh Hasina is in charge of the nation, our dream of becoming a developed, prosperous, and smart Bangladesh by 2041 will be realized”.

According to a news release, the minister was the chief guest at a discussion titled “The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Historical Leadership and Development of the Country” which was held at the Forest Department during the Great Independence and National Day 2023. Regarding the green revolution, he stated that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had planted numerous trees around the nation in order to create awareness of the green revolution.

Uddin further added that with Bangabandhu as a model and inspiration, the country is being transformed into a green, pollution-free Bengal. He urged everyone to collaborate in protecting forests and animals. The minister added, “The goals of the liberation war will be achieved only if we properly execute the responsibility assigned to us”. While delivering his address, the minister paid tribute to all the valiant independence warriors, especially the Father of the Nation. He then added that without Bangabandhu, it is impossible to write the history of Bangladesh.

Uddin further stated that Bangabandhu unified the Bengali nation and prepared the citizens step by step. He also highlighted that the country’s triumph was expedited by the courageous freedom warriors who were inspired by his leadership and battled with unwavering courage. He added, “His able daughter and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given due status to the heroic freedom warriors and is developing the country”. As special guests, Deputy Minister of the Ministry Begum Habibun Nahar, Secretary Dr. Farhina Ahmed, and Assistant Secretary Iqbal Abdullah Harun participated in the debate that was moderated by Chief Conservator of Forests Md. Amir Hossain Chowdhury.

Bangabandhu Chair of the Bangladesh University of Professionals Historian Professor Dr. Syed Anwar Hossain delivered the keynote address. Gobinda Roy, the Deputy Chief Conservator of Forests, presented the welcome address. Prior to the meeting, the environment minister and visitors laid wreaths before the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Father of the Nation. Later, prayers were conducted for the eternal peace of the heroic victims’ souls as well as the prosperity of the nation and its citizens.
