For its operations in the Maldives, the airline will employ a Boeing 737 aircraft that can accommodate 180 passengers. Further, Batik Air boasts a comprehensive network of 50 destinations, including Malaysia, Thailand, and Australia.

The commencement of direct flights to the Maldives is anticipated to make a significant contribution to the expansion of the tourism industry and increase visitors from Malaysia. Additionally, it is anticipated that the availability of direct flights to Malaysia will alleviate the challenges encountered by locals when traveling to the country.
