Biden to mark US crossing 500,000 Covid deaths

The White house held a ceremony of lighting candles and a moment of silence as President Biden marked the United States crossed the mark of 500,000 lives lost due to the Covid 19 virus.

It has been just over a year since the first confirmed Covid 19 death the nation has taken a mammoth loss in lives as they hit the milestone of more than 500,000 lives lost on Monday due to the virus and how out of control the situation has become in the United States.

It was confirmed by the white house that President Joe Biden will be joined by first lady Jill Biden, Vice president Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff. President Biden will then deliver remarks at sunset in honor of those who have lost their lives to the virus and then they will participate in a moment of silence and lighting of the candles ceremony.

President Biden has always made it a point to recognize the lives that have been lost because of the virus. The very first event that President Biden had once he had his inauguration to the white house was the candle light memorial for the lives lost through Covid 19.
