The post went viral on social media and garnered huge attention and comments. In the meantime, Bill Gates began to follow Mahesh Babu on Twitter and Instagram.
In return, Bill Gates reshared Mahesh Babu’s photo on his Twitter and Facebook accounts with the following caption, “Being in New York is always fun – you never know who you’ll run into. It was great meeting you and Namrata.” The billionaire also posted a photo of the couple to his Instagram story with the following caption, “Great minds eat alike. I enjoyed meeting you and Namrata.”
Mahesh Babu is the son of Telugu actor Krishna. He began his career as a child actor in the 1989 film Poratam, starring his father. He had also acted in his father’s flicks Sankharavam and Bazaar Rowdy. Mahesh Babu debuted on the big screen with the 1999 film Raja Kumarudu, alongside Preity Zinta. A few of his blockbusters include Athadu, Pokiri, Athidhi, Dookudu, SPYder, Bharat Ane Nenu, and Maharshi. He was most recently seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru. He also appeared in Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Namrata Shirodkar was crowned Miss India 1993. The former actress is popular for her roles in Hindi films such as Kachche Dhaage, Pukar, Astitva, Albela, and Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. She was a multilingual star who has also appeared in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She also appeared in Bride And Prejudice which was released in 2004. She is the wife of Telugu actor Mahesh Babu. The duo met on the sets of the 2000 film Vamsi. They now have two kids, son Gautham and daughter Sitara.
