Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Its a big day for India, and Ayodhya is decked up in full. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is attending the Pran Prathistha celebration in Ayodhya today, and the people are considering the occasion as Diwali, which is the festival commemorating Lord Ram’s return from his conflict with Ravan. The temples and homes have been illuminated in a festive fashion, and celebrities are making their way to Ayodhya to attend the grand consecration ceremony at the newly-constructed Ram Temple. Renowned celebrities and Bollywood personalities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajini Kanth, Anupam Kher, Sachin Tendulkar, Ayushmann Khurrana, filmmaker Rohit Shetty, Madhuri Dixit, and other popular stars, were spotted at Mumbai and Chennai airports, preparing to embark on their flights to Ayodhya.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, adorned in a white kurta-pajama, was seen outside Mumbai airport on Monday, en route to Ayodhya. Meanwhile, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar departed from Mumbai for the event, being among the distinguished invitees for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple. Telugu actors Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi, dressed in traditional attire, were photographed boarding a private plane in Hyderabad destined for Ayodhya. The South Indian superstars, accompanied by their families, waved at fans while walking on the tarmac.

Southern film industry icons Rajinikanth and Dhanush also embarked on their journey to Ayodhya a day prior to the temple’s grand opening. Swarmed by fans at Chennai Airport, the actors generated considerable attention as they prepared for their flight. Notable Bollywood couples, including Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif, and Madhuri Dixit with husband Shriram Nene, were also seen at Mumbai airport donned in traditional attire. The couples, displaying a blend of sarees and kurta pajamas, greeted paparazzi with folded hands before boarding their flights to Ayodhya.
Newlyweds Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram, along with “Kashmir Files” actor Anupam Kher, were among the celebrities expressing enthusiasm for the event. Hooda, greeted by the media, shared his excitement for the inauguration, stating, “It’s a big day for India.” Kher, flying to Ayodhya on Sunday, posted a video inside the flight, expressing the spiritual atmosphere and devotion among fellow passengers. Taking to Instagram, Anupam penned, “I have reached Ayodhya with all the Ram devotees. There was an atmosphere of great devotion in the plane. We are blessed. Our country is blessed! Jai Shri Ram!”
Actor Kangana Ranaut, who reached Ayodhya on Sunday, engaged in a cleanliness drive at the Hanuman Garhi Temple. Dressed in a red and gold silk saree, she participated in sweeping the temple floors, expressing her joy about being in Ayodhya during this auspicious time. Ranaut shared, “Ayodhya has been decorated like a bride. Bhajans and yagyas are being organized at several places. It feels like we have reached ‘Dev Lok’…We cannot say anything about those who do not want to come…It feels really good to be in Ayodhya right now”.
