Mumbai, India (CU)_ Bollywood’s famous couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary on Tuesday. The pair keep their personal lives under wraps on social media platforms. On their big day, their most special family friend, actress and business tycoon Anil Ambani’s wife Tina Ambani wished the couple with a lovely note. She shared a beautiful picture of the couple in Instagram and wrote a heartfelt message to wish them.
The throwback photo shared by Tina portrayed Abhishek and Aishwarya happily flashing smile for the camera. Tina wished them with a note, “Can’t believe it’s been 14 years since your beautiful wedding. Still crazy in love, utterly gorgeous and the most fabulous parents to Aaradhya. Blessings and heaps of hugs and love – happy anniversary.”
Fans were overjoyed in social media with the couple’s anniversary celebrations. In the comments section, the fans conveyed their wishes to the couple. On April 20, 2007, Aishwarya and Abhishek tied knots. It was a private wedding ceremony that took place in Prateeksha, the Bachchans’ home. The duo are now parents to 9-year-old daughter Aaradhya who was born in 2011.
Abhishek believes that life would be dull without his wife and kids. He recently appreciated his wife for being more sensible. The actor shared his experience with the family during lockdown times. He said, “I was speaking to my wife about this, and as all wives do, they put your lives into focus and put you back on track. She said, ‘For the first time in your life, you got to spend an entire year with your family, and your family is safe and healthy today’. And when she said that, apart from being appreciative of having such a wonderful and sensible wife, it’s so true.”
In terms of work, Abhishek’s last project was The Big Bull, where he was identified as a stockbroker based on Harshad Mehta. The actor will also appear in the comedy film Dasvi. Aishwarya’s current project is Ponniyin Selvan, a Tamil film directed by Mani Ratnam.
