British manufacturers maintain growth despite soaring costs

LONDON (CU)_As many countries begin to recover from the economic downturn of the COVID-19 pandemic, so is Britain, which is seeing a revival in economic activity on the back of one of the most successful vaccination campaigns in the world. This post-pandemic recovery has accelerated demand, which has caused a noteworthy increase in the cost of material. On the other and, persisting supply chain problems caused by the global health crisis has also put pressure on the price of many items. Nevertheless, British manufacturers continue to maintain growth, exceeding expectations last month.
