Canadian Automobile Association to offer pet insurance with Pets Plus Us

Ontario, Canada (CU)_ PTZ Insurance Services Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Crum & Forster Insurance, has entered into a partnership with the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) to offer pet insurance to pet parents under the brand Pets Plus Us®. The collaboration benefits from the capabilities of CAA’s eight member clubs throughout Canada and advances the two organizations’ common goal of responsible pet ownership that prioritizes pet health and wellness.

Established in 2012, Pets Plus Us, is a specialized supplier of pet insurance in the United States and Canada. Currently, it is the pet insurance provider of choice for more than 250 affinity and member groups in North America. Further, the firm’s collaboration with CAA strengthens this network.

Eric Coulson, Vice President of Global Distribution at Crum & Forster Pet Insurance Group, spoke about the need for pet insurance. He said, “CAA understands that pet owners want to do all they can to prepare for the unexpected health and wellness needs of their pets. That is what makes them a great partner to bring awareness and make our pet insurance accessible to pet parents.”

With a growing number of pet lovers, good pet keeping will become increasingly important, including pet insurance. In order to be ready for unforeseen veterinarian expenditures, pet parents may now feel relieved that they will get aid with the cost of their animals’ health care.

Frank Fotia, chief operating officer at CAA National, expressed delight over the partnership. He said, “We are excited to partner with Pets Plus Us. They have a proven brand offering first-class pet health insurance and wellness products to provide peace of mind to pet parents.”
