Commonwealth says NO MORE!!

(CU)_Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in March last year, there has been an alarming rise in domestic and sexual violence, in both developed and underdeveloped communities across the globe. In order to tackle this situation, the Commonwealth Secretariat has decided to collaborate with the NO MORE Foundation, with the aim of launching a new initiative, “Join the Chorus”, across all 54 member states of the Commonwealth.

The project was launched at a virtual event on the side-lines of the 2021 UN General Assembly (UNGA) session, with the participation of United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland and the Global Executive Director of the NO MORE Foundation Pamela Zaballa.
