Mumbai (Commonwealth Union)_ Deepika Padukone looked like a smart lady boss as she graced the 141st International Olympic Committee (IOC) session opening ceremony held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, clad in a chic grey pantsuit. The accomplished Pathaan actress opted for a minimalist approach, with her hair elegantly tied in a neat bun. Completing her ensemble with a white handbag, Deepika radiated confidence and flashed her brightest smile for the cameras. Notably, she attended the event without her husband, Ranveer Singh, while fellow actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made a joint appearance. Deepika Padukone was also observed engaging with guests and fellow delegates in attendance.

Alia Bhatt graced the occasion in a regal royal blue salwar suit, with her hair similarly fashioned in a bun. Her look was complemented by a bindi and chandwalis, and the couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia, warmly posed hand in hand for the photographers. Deepika Padukone’s recent appearance at the IOC session follows her special role in Shah Rukh Khan’s film, Jawan, where she portrayed the character of Shah Rukh Khan’s mother, earning her a new and diverse fanbase.

Further, recent social media posts showed Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone collaborating on a film project, with the duo recently in Italy filming song sequences for their upcoming movie, Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand. A behind-the-scenes photograph from the set surfaced online, featuring a casually dressed Hrithik and Deepika in a bathrobe. The picture, clicked by Hrithik himself, showcased the Fighter team, including Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamta Bhatia Anand, as well as choreographer Bosco Martis, among others. The image, shared on Instagram by actor Arfeen Khan, encapsulated the friendship on the set and was captioned, “Fighter in action…amazing people, amazing shoot.” The IOC session holds paramount importance as it brings together members of the International Olympic Committee, where pivotal decisions regarding the future of the Olympic games are deliberated upon and made. India’s role as the host for this session marks the second occurrence after an interval of approximately four decades, with the previous IOC session held in New Delhi back in 1983, as detailed in a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
