Bangladesh (Commonwealth Union)_ Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB), in partnership with the Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Mastercard, has introduced two exclusive credit cards tailored for the medical community in Bangladesh. The MTB-BMA Mastercard World Credit Card and Titanium Credit Card have been meticulously crafted to cater to the financial and travel needs of doctors in the country. These credit cards offer a range of attractive features and benefits, including a complete annual fee waiver for the first year.

The cardholders will also enjoy complimentary access to MTB Air Lounges at major Bangladeshi airports, including Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, Osmani International Airport in Sylhet, Cox’s Bazar Airport, and Saidpur Airport. For doctors traveling abroad, the cards provide access to meet and greet services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and access to over 1,100 airport lounges worldwide through the Banks’ LoungeKey program. Additionally, cardholders can accumulate reward points through MTB’s ‘MRewardz’ loyalty program on online transactions and POS machine purchases. These points are redeemable for various purposes, such as credit card bill payments, air ticket bookings, car rentals, Gift Cards, Gift vouchers, and more.

Furthermore, the credit cards enable customers to access special offers at Mastercard’s 6,500 partner outlets across Bangladesh, as well as exclusive global offers under the ‘Priceless Special’ program. Cardholders can also benefit from the 0% Interest Installment Purchase program through MTB’s ‘FlexiPay’ scheme. Additionally, these cards provide insurance coverage through the MTB Protection Plan, with a maximum coverage of BDT 4 million for the World Credit Card and BDT 2 million for the Titanium Credit Card.

Syed Mahbubur Rahman, the Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank Limited, expressed pride in presenting these unique co-branded credit cards, the first of their kind for doctors in Bangladesh.
