Group overview: Marriott to add almost 1,000 new hotels

by mid-2022. The 410-room property will be part of a triple-branded project, housed across two new build towers in downtown LA. The 42-storey tower will host AC Hotel by Marriott Fig + Pico and Moxy, while the smaller 25-storey building will be occupied by Hilton Garden Inn. Set right across from the LA Convention Center, these two towers will share 13,000 sq ft. of ground-floor retail space.

A little further south in the Sunshine State, meanwhile, Marriott Hotel and Convention Center Chula Vista Bayfront will also be ready by mid-2022. The 1,600-room hotel will sit right by Chula Vista Harbour, which is home to two marinas and a large boating population. This property will be part of a larger development that also includes a convention centre, retail and resort amenities, and more than 200 acres of parks with a shoreline promenade.
