Thailand (CWBN)_ A hilarious picture of a baby elephant trying to desperately hide itself behind a much small pole after it was caught eating sugarcane in the middle of the night, is winning numerous hearts on the internet.

The humorous scene captured by locals on a sugarcane field in Chiang Mai, Thailand went viral on several social media platforms, minutes after it was posted, with the caption “Keep calm. Officers will see. Let’s continue eating sugarcane.”

Though the baby elephant’s attempts to hide behind the pole were not successful, it gave internet an adorable picture. The adorable picture gained numerous views and comments.

Elephants often prefer are bananas and sugarcanes, and would emerge from regional forests to feast on banana and sugarcane fields. Indian Forest Service Officer, Susanta Nanda, had also posted a video of another sugarcane thief earlier, but one of a bolder forte than the little tyke.
