Amongst those surveyed, 60 per cent confessed to feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation, while 39 per cent harbored concerns about keeping pace with the rapid developments in AI. Such sentiments are perfectly natural when venturing into uncharted territories. However, a resounding 70 per cent expressed a keen interest in delving deeper into the realms of AI, even if they’re unsure where to kickstart their exploration.
In a striking revelation, 68 per cent of employees disclosed that they have already incorporated generative AI into their work routines. This highlights a promising willingness to integrate cutting-edge technology into their professional lives. Additionally, half of the respondents are eagerly experimenting with other AI-powered tools, signaling an enthusiastic embrace of innovation.
Nirajita Banerjee, a seasoned career expert, offered her insights, remarking, “While catching up with the pace of AI can be a challenge, it’s heartening to witness people focusing on the myriad benefits it brings to their professional lives.” Banerjee went on to emphasize that a staggering 90 per cent of professionals firmly believe that, within the next five years, AI will seamlessly become an indispensable member of their teams, operating like an invisible but highly effective colleague.

Over half of working Indians, a robust 55 per cent, believe that AI will streamline their tasks, leading to heightened job satisfaction.
