There will always be drama when it comes to the sports world. Rugby is no different. There is always drama and unfair calls according to the players and there will always be fights as to who is right and who is wrong.

In Australia rugby is a religion and the fans are very religious. There are different teams and each fan is as loyal as the next. So this can only mean that there is a lot of media and even social media presence for every minor detail of any match.

The Queensland Cameron Munster maintains that he is not “GRUB” as he escapes a fine for kicking Liam Martin in the stomach whilst he was still on the ground. Munster lashed out with his left boot after he was crunched by Martin in the 55th minute during. The five-eighth was placed on report, but the match review committee charged him on Wednesday night with grade-one contrary conduct, which will amount to just a A$1150.

This is not the first time this has happened as Munster has kicked out at Joey Manu in the 2018 grand finale, said it was not a good look with Martin and declaredthat if he really kicked him, he wouldn’t have been able to get up.

Munster quoted “I know deep down there was no malice in it and I never wanted to hurt him. I kicked the ball, he tried to tackle me, he wouldn’t get off me, and he gave me some lip, so I gave him a little ‘get off me’. It wasn’t frustration. And when I came off the field I didn’t think too much of it. It was more a case of ‘get off me’. I’m more than happy to apologies to Liam to his face and tell him there was no malice in the kick. If I really wanted to lash out you would have seen a longer, bigger kick. He could have stayed down if I kicked him that hard, let’s be honest. But he got up and kept playing. I know the person I am, I’m kicking myself because I don’t want to be in that category of being a grub. I’ve made my bed and I need to lie in it. I know deep down I don’t go out to kick anyone in the guts or in the head.”
