This film follows the story of Kargil martyr Captain Vikram Batra. Kiara Advani plays Vikram’s girlfriend. The movie was released on August 12.
Bhuj: The Pride of India
Bhuj: The Pride Of India is another film that celebrates Indian unity. It is a 2021 period war film directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya featuring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, Pranitha Subhash and Ihana Dhillon. The film recreates the 1971 Indo-Pak war, when the IAF runway at Bhuj was destroyed during the battle. Following that, 300 indigenous women from Gujarat, commanded by IAF squadron leader Vijay Karnik, worked tirelessly to rebuild the airbase. On August 13, the film will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.
Uri: The Surgical Strike
Uri is a 2019 action drama film directed by Aditya Dhar. This is a film based on the Indian army’s surgical strikes in 2016. Vicky Kaushal starred in the film, which also earned him a National Award for his exceptional portrayal as an army officer.
