Diaspora (Commonwealth Union) _ India has initiated an investigation into the alleged conspiracy to kill Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a Sikh extremist holding American and Canadian citizenship. The US federal prosecutors have charged Nikhil Gupta, an Indian national, with involvement in the thwarted plot against Pannun. Addressing the situation, Arindam Bagchi, the spokesperson for the External Affairs Ministry, expressed concern, characterizing it as contrary to government policy.
