Kolkata, India (CU)_ In 2019, the Commonwealth announced a new partnership aimed at reducing domestic violence among Commonwealth member countries, including India. To end domestic violence in the 53 member countries, Secretary-General Patricia Scotland signed a memorandum of understanding with the NO MORE Foundation, a global movement of 1,400 allied organizations and 40 international chapters working together against domestic violence. The collaboration was revealed during an event held at Commonwealth headquarters in London.
